This full moon occurred on December 12 at 12:12 AM. Numerically that's 12/12 at 12:12 AM.
12:12 AM is the dawn of a new day. This is a sign and wonder pointing to the New Year, 2020.
The number 12 points to God's chosen people positioned in places of influence and authority. It points to Kingdom government as in 12 tribes, 12 judges and 12 disciples. In 2020, I believe we are going to see God's people walking in greater Kingdom authority and stepping into positions of greater influence. This applies to individual believers and to the Church at large.
As I further prayed about this the Lord reminded me that in the Bible, the moon is referred to as the lesser light because it reflects the light or glory of the sun. The full moon on 12/12 speaks that God's glory will be reflected in greater measures on the earth in 2020. It will be reflected by His people stepping into their Kingdom authority. Powerful kingly decrees will release God's glory in the earth and establish His people in victory!
In daylight, the moon is rarely seen. It only shines or reflects the glory of the sun because of the darkness of night. We can expect to see the kingdom of darkness grow even darker this next year. While increasing darkness is not encouraging, our reflection of the Father's glory is going to be fuller, more defined, and shine into the darkness like never before.
"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon thee. For behold, gross darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee" (Isaiah 60:1-2).
Check that out in The Passion Translation:
The Glorious New Day
Rise up in splendor and be radiant,
for your light has dawned,
Yahweh's glory now streams from you!
Look carefully!
Darkness blankets the earth,
and thick gloom covers the nations,
But Yahweh arises upon you
and the brightness of His glory
appears over you!
Nations will be attracted to your radiant light
and kings to the sunrise - glory of your new day.
Lift up your eyes higher!
Look all around you and believe,
for your sons are returning from far away
and your daughters are being tenderly carried home.
Watch as they all gather together,
eager to come back to you"
Isaiah 60:1-4
Woohoo!!!
I think it's really cool that right now in this season Christians are focused on the birth of our Savior. Sing those Christmas carols, worship Him, soak up all the light that you can from His glory and get ready to shine. As you enter 2020, shine like never before in this dark world. Walk in the authority He has given you and do not compromise with darkness. Make it yield to the LIGHT within you. Establish His Kingdom! Reflect His Glory!!
