A Gusher of Joy

A precious friend (known by some as Ms. Sue) phoned to tell me the Lord had spoken to her. He told her to draw joy out of her spirit and release it to those around her. I took it as the word of the Lord and began to sing, "Joy, joy, joy…", "If you want joy...", and "The joy of the Lord is my strength…" Immediately, I heard Jesus say, "Tell them to stop drinking at the wells of fear, dread, despair, and hopelessness. Tell them to drink from the well of joy."

I thought of Psalm 84:6. Even when we must go through the valley of weeping, in Christ we can make it a well of refreshing and a well of blessings.

"And in that day (when things look hopeless) say, O Lord, I will praise You… Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord, Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore, with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day say (tell others to), Praise the Lord, call upon His name, declare His doings among the people, make mention that His name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for He hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth" (Isaiah 12).

Don't stop reading. This part is IMPORTANT!

I continued to imagine myself drawing joy out of the well of salvation, singing and worshiping my savior. All at once, I sensed His presence very strong. He was with me as I drank from the well of joy. JOY!!! And then Jesus asked me to give Him a drink from my well. I poured out worship and gratitude big time. It was like a gusher.

He began to speak to me, completely refreshing my spirit with living water. Such life! Such joy! The flow was tremendous and powerful. Freedom hit me! A revelation of Jesus hit me. I had a greater knowing and experiencing of supernatural joy. A greater anointing for the harvest hit me. Joy was strong that I could not wait to tell others.

Jesus said, "The world needs to be refreshed with this sweet water coming from your spirit. Let the water of joy flow freely to impact those around you. Don’t' hold back. They must know there is a source of life and joy that will never run dry. You must give them joy and you must give them hope."

My love to Ms. Sue! Blessings, lady. May your joy be contagious.
