Dream: I saw an innumerable number of songbirds in every tree. Their coloring was a beautiful mixture of orange, black, and white. They were small birds but their song was loud and joyous. The dream had some other elements in it that I will share later in this post.
Birds, because of their position between heaven and earth, represent the spirit realm. Blackbirds, crows, vultures, hawks, etc. symbolize dominic activity. Other birds, like eagles and songbirds, represent angelic activity.
As I waited before the Lord, seeking to understand the dream, Holy Spirit impressed the following thoughts to me: Even though we cannot see them, His angels are extremely active in this hour. This increased angelic activity is largely due to our prayers and declarations. As a result, we are about to see a manifestation of heaven on earth. A shift has already happened but there is more to come.
I have been asking the Lord why the majority of His people have been silent in this hour. I have been praying that He would commission some strong voices in strategic places. I've literally been praying out of Isaiah 51 that His people would "wake up, stand up, and speak up". He showed me that there are plenty of voices. The voices are not heard because, like mine, they are raised in prayer closets.
It may seem like your prayers and decrees have no effect, like the words are just falling to the ground. But, God wants you to know that your prayers are being released in a strategic place. Yes, the prayer closet is a strategic place. Your prayers are being heard in heaven. Angels are being released to bring heaven to earth. There has been a birthing in prayer closets, the birthing of revival and of a great awakening.
In the natural, due to the COVID19 quarantine, closets have been cleaned out. They have been purged, dusted, vacuumed, organized, and prioritized. This is a picture of what's happening in prayer closets in the realm of the spirit. There has been a cleansing and even purging on several levels. The prayers have brought about personal cleansing and generational cleansing. The prayers have aligned the church with the priorities of heaven. The prayers have brought purging and cleansing to the land. We are going to see the manifestation of this in the coming years. Angels have been released to bring it about.
Keep praying!
Keep decreeing!
I told that I would share the rest of my dream. It started with the songbirds or increased angelic activity. Then I saw demonic activity on the ground. Their numbers were extremely small when compared to that of the angels. These demons had small spear-like weapons but the point of each spear had been broken off. They had no point (or power)!!! Their points were laying in a pile mocking them as the songbirds glorified God.
Final thoughts: As the quarantine restrictions are lifting and schedules are getting busy once again, do not forget the prayer closet. Make that essential in your daily routine. The battle is not over. The weapons of your warfare are:
Worship!
Praying!
Decreeing!
