His Embrace

"His left hand should be under my head,

And His right hand embraces me."

Song of Solomon 8:3

Imagine yourself in Jesus' embrace.

Imagine His left hand under your head.

Imagine that He is bringing healing, wholeness, and peace to your mind.

Imagine His right hand embracing you.

Imagine that He is ministering peace and healing to your heart, to your emotions.

Imagine yourself relaxing in His embrace.

Imagine all your muscles relaxing and your mind letting go.

Imagine letting Him have all the heaviness in your spirit, soul, & body.

Imagine all the tension and resistance leaving.

Imagine being completely vulnerable to Jesus.

Imagine letting Him take your mind, take your thoughts where ever He wants.

Imagine allowing Him to touch your heart in its deepest place.

Imagine fear and worry leaving.

Imagine Him freeing your spirit with His love.

Imagine Him healing your body as He holds you close.

Imagine what He is whispering to you as He embraces you.

Imagine His embrace until complete rest and peace overwhelms you.

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27).

As the scripture at the top of the page says, this is how it "should be". I encourage you to lean into how it "should be". I further encourage you to do this often and write down the endearments He speaks to you.
