This morning the Lord impressed on me the need to "bring back the ark". This phrase came from King David: "Let us bring back the ark of our God" (1 Chronicles 13:3).
The ark of the covenant represents His presence and His glory.
The ark of the covenant was a gold-covered box which contained:
The tablets - the 10 commandments.
Aaron's rod that budded - pointing to the miraculous. We want miracles.
A golden jar of manna - pointing to provision. We want His provision.
The golden cover box was covered by the mercy seat. We want His mercy.
At one end of the mercy seat, a golden cherubim faced a cherubim on the other end.
We want angelic overshadowing and protection.
The problem is we forget that in order to get to have these blessings
(His presence, His glory, the miraculous, provision, mercy, and protection),
sacrificial worship took place.
We forget that the mercy seat was approached with holy reverence and holy fear.
We forget our part - keeping the commandments.
This is what Father impressed on me when I heard: "Bring back the ark".
Bring back deep sacrificial worship.
Bring back the holy reverence
and holy fear of God.
We about to see God move in unprecedented ways in the earth. He wants to partner with us in this move but we must get the basics right.
Bring back deep sacrificial worship.
Bring back the holy reverence
and holy fear of God.
We are ever indebted to Jesus. He became the sacrificial lamb. His shed blood obtained mercy for us. His death rent the veil which separated us from the holy presence of God. He made all the blessings of God available to us.
This a call to worship. Fall on your knees and worship your Savior. Fall on your face in worship before the Almighty. Posture yourself in worship to our great God. He is Holy.
Cry out for the fear of the Lord to be restored in your life and in the earth.
Cry out for this more than for your provision or your miracle. As we get the worship right, we will have provision. We will have the miracle. We will be overwhelmed by His love.
"On earth, as it is in heaven."
In heaven, the cry is
"Holy, Holy, Holy".
