Hope Chest

That dream. That hope. That prophetic word.

I had an encounter with the Lord the other night. Lying awake in my bed, I started talking to Jesus. Sensing that He was actually in my bedroom, I asked Him to show me where He was in the room. He did. He was in that beautiful white garment with the blue sash, sitting on my hope chest.

I don’t have a hope chest in my bedroom (the one in the picture is in my living room). The chest in the vision symbolized my hopes, my dreams, the prophecies that I contend for. Recently, one of the dreams seemly came to fruition but just as quickly seemed to die. I just keep believing, fighting discouragement, contending, fighting discouragement, decreeing, fighting discouragement, … I'm sure you see the pattern.

I asked Jesus why He was sitting on my dreams. Are You keeping them down, keeping them from happening? He replied,

"My weight, My glory, My favor are on your hopes and dreams.

I guard over them with you.

For I watch over My word to perform it.

All your prayers & decrees increase the anointing on them.

At the right time, I will open the lid, breathe on them, and release them

For My Glory.

What has looked like a stillbirth will burst to life.

That will only be the beginning of BREAKTHROUGH."

I share this to encourage you. I know it's for many in the body of Christ. It may seem like those dreams, hopes, and prophetic words are falling to the ground. Your thoughts maybe something like:

That dream. That hope. That prophetic word.

At one time there was a spark of life.

There was movement. But now,

All is still. All is quiet.

Stillbirth.

BUT the Lord says to you:

"My weight, My glory, My favor are on your hopes and dreams.

I guard over them with you.

For I watch over My word to perform it.

All your prayers & decrees increase the anointing on them.

At the right time, I will open the lid, breathe on them, and release them

For My Glory.

What has looked like a stillbirth will burst to life.

That will only be the beginning of BREAKTHROUGH."
