March Marvels

The month of March brought God encounters, dreams, and spiritual marvels in the areas of mocking, and ministry. I pray this encourages you.

Mocking:

3/4/25 My devotions came from Matthew 27:27-31, where 600 Roman soldiers mocked Jesus. 600 Roman soldiers represent ultimate intimidation. To humiliate Him, they stripped Him. Ridiculing His kingship, they put a scarlet robe and a twisted crown of thorns on Him. Instead of a scepter, they gave Him a reed. They knelt before Him tauntingly, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews.”  They blind folded Him, took away the reed, hit Him in the head with it while spitting on Him and challenging Him to prophesy who was hitting Him.

The truth that Holy Spirit impressed on me is that Jesus knew His identity. He stood in His identity even while they mocked Him cruelly. The areas where they mocked Jesus were the absolute truth. The Roman soldiers did not realize the scarlet robe was a picture of sin (ours & theirs) and the only remedy for sin (the blood of Jesus). As they formed the twisted crown of thorns for His head, they unknowingly revealed the twisted way that sin impacts the human mind as well as the only remedy – the Lordship and mind of Christ. The reed challenged His Kingship and authority.  Every mock they threw at Him was the truth. On the cross above His head, they put a sign, “This is Jesus, King of the Jews.” They stated the truth, but they did so in sarcasm. Jesus let none of their jeering sway Him from His call because He knew His identity.

The enemy does the same thing to us. He mocks our identity in Christ. He mocks the gifts, calling, and God’s purpose for our lives. He tells us we are fakes, that we are delusional. He tells us we are not successful. He intimidates, humiliates, ridicules, and taunts us. Maybe on Earth (from man's perspective), we do not look successful. But from heaven’s perspective, we are exactly what the Word says and exactly who Holy Spirit anointed and gifted us to be. We are successful! We must stand firm in our identity in Christ and not sway from the call. When the enemy taunts you, that proves who you are in Christ. He is nothing but a liar!

Ministry:

3/6/2025 After waging war by taking a strong stand against the intimidation and mockery of the enemy, I had encouraging dreams that reinforced God’s plans, call, and purposes for me.

3/11/2025 Dream: Prepare, get ready for BIG ministry.

3/13/2025 I was at a writer’s conference where my publisher and I each received large checks from my book sales. $$$

3/13/2025 Following a miraculous breakthrough & victory in my health, I had a dream. Dream: The personal breakthrough impacted my ministry with a release of greater faith for healing the sick and releasing miracles for His Kingdom glory. I received it!

3/17/2025 My devotions included Mark 4:1-9 and Genesis 26:12. Holy Spirit impressed me to believe for 100-fold fruit in my ministry/book endeavors. I was believing for too little.

3/19/2025 Dream: I heard “cinnamon” and “garlic.” The Hebrew word for cinnamon means “erect, upright.” The Hebrew word for garlic means “breathe”. After seeking the Lord, it came to me that He was encouraging me in ministry: Keep walking upright and breathe (prophesy) to the dry bones. Regarding “erect & upright,” in Ezekiel 37:10, the bones stood up on their feet. Hallelujah!

March Marvels: The enemy's purpose of mocking is to discourage and stop you from stepping out in the ministry or call that God has on your life.

May your God encounters cause you to marvel over His love, His goodness, and His word. Marvel means “to be amazed, to be astonished, to wonder.”
