8.4.22 Prophetic Word: Tingling Ears
“And the Lord said to Samuel:
“See, I am about to do something in Israel
that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle.”
1 Samuel 3:11
This morning after reading 1 Samuel 3:11, I began to pray: Lord, my eyes are focused on what You will do. Many eyes are focused, watching and waiting for You to do something that will turn this nation around, something that will make everyone’s ears tingle.
The Lord spoke clearly to my spirit:
“Even now I am sending forth a tingling in the ears. It is a tingle, tingle, tingle - like a gentle bell. It is truth ringing in all ears. Yes, it’s ringing in all ears. Many hear it gladly and rejoice even in dance, for there is a rhythm in the tingle, tingle, tingle. The tingle sounds in rhythm with a truth drum. Others will choose to ignore it and make noise louder than the tingle (Zechariah 7:11). Yes, their noise will increase as they try to drown out the tingle, tingle, tingle of the truth drum. But I will increase the volume. TINGLE, TINGLE, TINGLE will become louder and louder in their ears. The rhythm will cause a vibration and a shaking. Even nature will shake from the tingling vibration of the truth drum. Just as nature cracks and heaves when the earth shakes, so will the minds of those who stop their ears to block out truth. Tingle, tingle, tingle. Can you hear? So can they. They must decide if they delight in their delusions or in truth.”
“But they refused to pay attention
and turned a stubborn shoulder
and stopped their ears that they might not hear.”

12 “They made their hearts diamond-hard lest they should hear the law and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent by his Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore, great anger came from the Lord of hosts. 13 “As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear,” says the Lord of hosts, 14 “and I scattered them with a whirlwind …”
Tingle, tingle, tingle. Rejoice with me to the rhythm of the truth tingle.
Thank You, Father! We rejoice in truth and we thank You for ears that hear. We are in awe of Your great mercy that You would send the tingle, tingle, tingle of truth to all ears. We pray for an opening of their ears, for a softening of hearts, …. May they turn to You. May they embrace truth.
