Red Words & Red Wine Words

Prophetic word (3.9.23): In this season, your words carry the weight of the words written in red. They carry the weight of the words spoken by Jesus. I also saw a quill and I dipped it in a vat of red wine. The words that I penned were Holy Spirit inspired, weighty with supernatural power.

This word applies to all who fear Him, to all who will humble themselves, lay down their own agenda, seek His face, and welcome the fire from the holy altar.

Response: I humbled myself and prayed earnestly for the coal to be taken from the altar and touched to my lips. Holy Spirit, touch my heart too, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45).

More from Holy Spirit: The enemy works hard to shut us up. He tells us that our words do more harm than good. He says that our words are offensive, erecting walls between us and others. He must silence us because he cannot stand to hear or read the blood and wine-stained words. He knows they produce life. He screams at us, “Shut your mouth!”

In Song of Solomon 4:3a, Jesus describes his beloved’s lips. “Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely.” This verse refers to blood-stained lips. We get blood-stained lips when His words are on our lips. That’s what I want -- blood-stained lips that speak words of life, love, forgiveness, hope, truth, encouragement, healing, deliverance, and victory. I want my lips so stained that I cannot hide the color. Every time I open my mouth, Jesus, let Your red words pour forth no matter where I am, no matter who I’m talking to. I repent for the filter I have allowed to influence my words. I repent for the fear of man that has caused me to be quiet.

I'm drinking the living water of the Holy Spirit until my lips and words are stained with red wine (John 4:14, John 7:38-39). No embarrassment, no apologies, just powerful life-giving red wine-stained words pouring forth constantly.

All the glory to God!
