July 12, 2023 Yesterday, Holy Spirit spoke clearly in our prayer warriors' weekly gathering:
“A double portion of joy is available for every believer in this hour, especially those who have labored on the front lines. Joy is your reward. Take time out to receive a fresh baptism of joy. It will become unspeakable and supernatural. It will give you the necessary strength to persevere.”
The Lord began to speak this message of joy to me through 2 Prophetic Dreams:
Dream - June 26, 2023: A brother in the Lord blessed us (my husband and I) with 2 adorable collie puppies. They were in a puppy basket or crate. We loaded them into our vehicle and brought them home. My husband commented grouchily, “Puppies are a lot of work.”
Once we got home, we had to do this, take care of that, finish this task, and get a head start on that task…. Busy, busy, busy. Two very busy days passed until I remembered the puppies. I ran to their crate and let them out. They were so happy to see me. They wiggled their little tales and licked my face. I was overwhelmed by their enthusiasm.
Interpretation: As I sat with the Lord the next morning seeking Him for the meaning of the dream, He said, “Do not neglect joy!” Sadly, we neglected those puppies for two days. I further reflected on my husband’s comment, “Puppies are a lot of work.” Receiving and nurturing joy must be intentional. It won’t just happen. It requires effort. There were 2 puppies, 2 portions of joy. I quickly turned to Isaiah 61 and searched for the verse about a double portion. I found the message of the dream in verses 5-7.
“Instead of shame, there shall be a double portion;
Instead of dishonor, we will rejoice in our lot;
Therefore, in our land (selah),
We shall possess a double portion,
We shall have every lasting JOY.”
Still, I wondered why the puppies were collies. What was the significance of collie puppies? In the month of June, my pastor did a series on joy. I shared the dream with him just to encourage him and let him know that his words got into my spirit because they were showing up in my dreams. He was delighted to tell me that he used to raise collie puppies. OH! Receive your pastor’s words. They are directly from God.
Dream – July 11, 2023: I was working, prepping food, serving food, and cleaning up… Realizing that I needed the mop, I went to get it and found a child that obviously felt neglected and needed some attention. Thinking I don’t have time for this, I took the child’s hand and began to skip and jump around being silly while looking for the mop. We both started to giggle. The giggling increased and suddenly I was no longer skipping and jumping from my own initiative. I realized it was supernatural. Supernatural strength was propelling me forward. Supernatural joy took over.
Interpretation: I thought the interpretation was pretty obvious – supernatural joy. However, as I pressed into the Lord regarding the dream, He said,
Take My hand and choose joy. Act out joy with Me and it will soon become supernatural.
It will not drain you. It will propel you forward and renew your strength.
Prayer warriors meeting: Please understand that this is a group of dedicated intercessors. Like some of you, they are on the front lines of the spiritual battle for the harvest, for revival, for this nation, for the children, for the truth … It’s a never-ending, exhausting assignment.
A subgroup within this group is the Care Team. They serve the infirmed by interceding constantly for their healing, bringing them meals, doing chores for them, running errands for them, etc. These precious weary servants needed a supernatural infusion of joy.
I shared what the Lord had been speaking to me. Then we asked for a fresh baptism of joy.
Holy Spirit did not disappoint! Some of us skipped like newborn lambs. We laughed and giggled about everything including our shoes. They were hilarious. I confess we got drunk on supernatural joy. After prayer, still giddy & drunk, we went out to lunch. Hahahaha. We were able to minister the love, hope, and joy of the Lord to our waitress. She was fighting tears. Praise God.
Father is offering a double portion of supernatural joy and renewed strength to all His faithful front liners. Don’t miss out on joy! Receive joy today.
