Tis the season for shopping. Whether online or in the stores, people are searching for that perfect gift. It can be exhausting!
That phrase "the perfect gift" turned my thoughts to this verse:
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" James 1:17.
My heart is full, overflowing with God's goodness, His faithfulness, His mercy, and His love. As I worshiped Him, He revealed 5 perfect gifts that He has made available (to whosoever will receive them) this Christmas season of 2020:
1. Life and Life Eternal
He has given us the gift of His son which is the gift of life itself.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16.
2. Focus Change:
He offers a focus change from that of political and national unrest to Jesus, the King of kings. "And the government shall be upon His shoulders" Isaiah 9:6. The Father wants you to know that He has heard our prayers for the nation, for the election, for the babies, …
"And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." I John 5:15. Going forward in this Christmas season, worship the King of kings as your intercession. Receive a focus change that will bring JOY to your heart and be released into the atmosphere.
3. Emotional Shift:
I heard a preacher say recently, "Fear has the mic right now". That's so true. The media is pronouncing gloom and doom, and projecting fear into the atmosphere by constantly updating us with the COVID-19 positive count, hospital overloads, deaths, and the necessary precautions. But the Christmas season has offered a shift for our emotions. "His name shall be called the Prince of Peace" Isaiah 9:6. Peace is for whosoever will receive it. Choose fear or peace. "And let the peace of God rule in your heart" Colossians 3:15.
4. Home for Christmas:
There are a lot of Christmas movies and even songs about being home for Christmas. The Lord impressed on me that the prodigals are turning toward home. They are coming back to the Lord. Last week I blogged about hearing the Lord say, "Lo, lo, lo, lo, lo, lo, lo" over and over again. One of the great and mighty things that we are about to see is the prodigals coming home. I'm not saying it will happen by or on Christmas, but I know they are coming home. I know because the enemy recently threatened me in a dream.
Dream: I was in a prison visiting someone to bring them good news.
The prison guard tried to attack me but I got away from him.
If my prayers were not effective, the enemy would not bother with me. I decree in Jesus' name the chains are falling off and the prodigals are coming home.
2nd Dream: The enemy was holding a pillow over my mouth.
He wants me to shut up because my prayers and decrees are effective to the glory of God and the establishing of His kingdom. Guess what, I'm not shutting up.
5. Harvest:
The spirit and power of Elijah is in the atmosphere right now (Luke 1:17). As the prodigals come home, they will trigger a major move of repentance and harvest of souls. The great and mighty "lo" things that we are about to see include the hearts of the fathers turning back to the children and the hearts of the children turning back to the fathers. The disobedient will turn to the wisdom of the just. This is all to make ready a people prepared for the Lord (rapture). The Lord confirmed this to me with Isaiah 29:17-24. Please check it out. I especially love verses 18, 22- 24.
I admonish you to be a whosoever will, receive these 5 perfect gifts from the Father.
Believe in Jesus, the gift of eternal life.
Receive JOY, worship Him, the King of all kings.
Choose to let His peace rule in your heart.
Believe that the prodigals are coming home.
Look at the fields, they are white for harvest.
Remember that souls are gifts, precious gifts. Let's ask the Lord for souls this Christmas.
