This happened in a time of prayer and sitting before Him in worship. In the spirit realm, Jesus put a key in my hand. I asked Him what the key was for. He said, "It's the key to your future". That was pretty exciting but I still didn't understand what door the key would open, how, or when to use it. Of course, I kept seeking Him for understanding. That was 3 days ago and understanding began to dawn this morning.
For the same 3 days I'd been meditating on Hosea 2:21&22: "And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the Lord, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel".
Corn, wine, and oil speak of provision, both physical and spiritual. Spiritually, corn would be revelation from the Word. Wine symbolizes His love, joy in the Holy Spirit, and new opportunities. Oil symbolizes a fresh anointing. I have been specifically asking for these things and pondering these verses. How can the earth hear corn? How can the earth hear wine? How can the earth hear oil?
Then I had a dream that brought understanding. In it, the Lord said, "Smooth out your future by the words you say". When the Lord speaks or reveals something to your spirit, add dimension, depth, color, and reality to it by speaking it from your mouth. The dream helped me look at the verse from Hosea differently.
"And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the Lord, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel" (Hosea 2:21&22).
The Hebraic meaning of these 2 words opened my understanding even more.
Jezreel - God will sow or give seed.
Hear - to respond, testify, speak, shout, sing, dwell.
Wow! Hearing is more than just tuning my ears and paying attention. Truly hearing requires that I respond by testifying what He said. Speak what He said out loud. Shout what He said. Sing about what He said. Dwell in what He said.
That's the key to my future. That's the key to your future. Hear what He is saying. What Jezreel speaks is the seed He is giving you to sow into your life. Sow it by responding, by testifying, by speaking, by shouting, by singing about it, and by dwelling in it.
