Waters of Revival Dream (2.16.23): Walking across my backyard, I notice the ground is soggy. Water is rising out of the earth. The water level is rising and flooding my backyard. I go around to the front and find the same thing. And, it's still rising. I’m thinking “Yikes, this water is going to flood my home.” I walk into the street, water. I venture into my neighbor’s yard, water. As I slowly turn in a circle surveying the land, I had a sense that this phenomenon was happening here, there, over there too, way over there, and across the whole earth. The thought came to me: This flood is going to cover the earth; every nation and all people groups will be touched by this flood.
Of course, I awoke knowing the water symbolizes the Holy Spirit. It symbolizes the waters of revival. Praise God for the revival Asbury University is experiencing. We (intercessors in NC) have been praying for revival to come here. Through this dream, God is showing me that He intends to saturate the whole earth with His Spirit.
“For the earth shall be filled
with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea.”
Habakkuk 2:14
As I prayed for more of God’s heart regarding this dream. He impressed me that everywhere I walked in the dream, water was spewing forth. I am a well or a cistern full of His glory and presence. Everywhere I go, I leak and the leak is becoming a flood. The same can be true for you. “Spring up, Oh well” (Numbers 21:17). “Out of my belly, flows rivers of living water” (John 7:38).
And, yes, the water has flooded my home. His presence and glory are very strong here. Last month, the Lord spoke to me “Keep the flames dancing”. For me, this means keep worshiping before His throne. Just as little Samuel was to keep the fire burning in the temple, the Lord instructed me to keep the flame - not only keep it burning but to make it dance. I had a vision that the flame dances when I worship. Worship also causes the waters of revival to rise. Join me.
Worship.
Keep the flames dancing.
Keep the waters rising.
He is worthy.
Let the earth be filled with the
Knowledge of His glory.
