The Lord has shown me that we are entering a season of miracles and manifestations of His power. Those who have a deep intimate relationship with Him will be candidates for manifestations of His power. This revelation came about through a dream, a horse dream.
1/6/22 - I was being exposed to a horse and trained in horsemanship. I was to become skilled in horsemanship to the degree that I would expose and train others in it. I strongly resisted the horse and the training, insisting that my passion was not a horse or horsemanship. I explained, "My passion is Jesus, His presence, His word, His voice. I want to expose Jesus and train others to know Him and love Him. Please, just let me do that. It's my passion!" My instructor told me that I was to incorporate the horse into my passion. End of dream.
People can be very passionate about their horses. The featured pic is of a good friend of mine, Candace. She loves her horses! I don't get it. That's probably because I had a negative experience with a horse as a child. Red belonged to my brother and did not like it when I rode him. He would take off very fast and run under a tree so that the branches would knock me off. Every time! No wonder I resisted the horse training in the dream. LOL
Upon awakening, I remembered that horses are symbolic of power. Think about how a horse naturally draws your eye. They are beautiful. They are powerful. But they must be mastered by the rider and not allowed to go their own way. The Lord wants to train us (those whose passions are rooted firmly in Christ) to handle, master, and demonstrate His power. We must not let it master us. We must guard against developing a passion for power. Be sure the enemy will tempt you to love power and the attention it will bring.
Guard, guard, guard your heart and your passions. When the Lord gives such a warning, we must take it seriously. He wants to pour out His power. He wants to use us as the conduits. He warns that the enemy will try to shift our passions. I asked the Lord how. How do we guard our passions and keep them centered on Jesus?
"The people that know their God shall be strong,
and carry out great exploits."
Daniel 11:32 NKJV
Consistent, humble prayer and fasting will keep your focus on Jesus. Focus on knowing God. Focus on experiencing Jesus' love. Strength and faith will grow. Great exploits will follow.
Passion for Power
PASSION FOR JESUS!
PS: By the way, my friend, Candace loves Jesus with all her heart. She often has visions and deep revelations of Jesus while riding her horse. How cool is that?
